Manager Reactions - June Ridout Memorial Cup Match 1
(Chelsea): A huge loss however I am very proud of the players, despite playing against a way bettter side and getting hammered they did not give up and they did try to play a bit of football. Meier has kept his record up scoring in every game since his arrival so that's now 6 goals in five matches a fantastic start for the young striker. The players are showing huge commitment and despite letting six goals in goalkeeper Marten did not let his head drop and made some fantastic saves or it could have been lots more. We wer beaten by a far better side however now we've got to pick up and continue our good start in the league.Quotes archive
